Since insurance wouldn’t cover Sally’s treatment until she would be nearly dead, and won’t cover alternative cancer treatment, I created my very first GoFundMe page.
It’s humbling to ask friends and family to donate. It’s humbling to ask, and even more humbling when they give. We were blessed and greatly appreciative to have so many friends and family donate generously to help Sally reach her goals. Treatment is expensive. It’s expensive with insurance let alone without. I’ve realized through this experience that we aren’t alone. Our community of friends and family are having health problems. Many are being treated for serious conditions and we’re all fighting for our health.
We need solutions and healing, not more drugs to hide the symptoms. We need more education on how to change our lives and how to fix the cause and source of our illnesses. Drugs and traditional treatments aren’t working. The system is making us sick and making someone else rich.
Everyone needs a GoFundMe. They need a ComeCureMe, and a PleaseInsureMe, too.
I’m still fundraising for Sally. Her treatment is expensive. She needs help to beat this. I know in my heart she has made the right choice for her cancer treatment. I know when others see Sally succeed and see there are other choices, they too will choose an alternative option. They will choose it to live, not to survive.
